PADI Rescue Diver Course – 2 or 3 Days

The Rescue Diver course is one of the most rewarding and transformative steps in your diving journey. This intensive 2–3 day program goes beyond basic diving skills and teaches you how to prevent, manage, and respond to dive emergencies—both underwater and at the surface.
You’ll learn how to assist divers in distress, manage dive-related incidents, and increase overall safety for yourself and your dive buddies. It’s challenging, hands-on, and often considered the most educational course in the PADI system.
📘 Course Overview
Duration: 2 or 3 days
Location: Koh Chang – BB Divers
Includes: PADI eLearning, confined water training, open water scenarios, all equipment, instructor guidance
Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water certification + valid EFR (or similar) within 24 months
✅ Option 1: Rescue Course Only (2 Days)
For divers who already have a current EFR or equivalent certification
Complete the PADI Rescue Diver eLearning at home (theory, videos, quizzes)
Day 1: Confined water training – practice rescue skills and scenarios in shallow water
Day 2: Open water training – perform rescue scenarios at sea
Depending on diver experience, training may be 1 day pool + 1 day boat or 2 days on the boat
✅ Option 2: Rescue + EFR Package (3 Days)
For divers who need to complete or renew their EFR training
Complete both PADI eLearnings (EFR + Rescue Diver) in your own time
Day 1: On-site EFR training and rescue theory revision
Day 2: Confined water rescue skill practice
Day 3: Open water rescue scenarios on the boat
✅ Option 3: Premium Rescue Challenge (3 Days On-site)
For divers looking for deeper training and more hands-on experience
Day 1: EFR skills + full rescue theory revision
Day 2: Confined water training – rescue techniques and drills
Day 3 & 4: Full-day rescue scenario training on the boat
This extended version provides extra time to build mastery and is ideal for those who want to push their skills even further.
